It contains diclofenac diethylammonium 2.32% w/w, equivalent to diclofenac sodium 2% w/w.
Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works directly at the site of pain and inflammation.
The maximum-strength formulation is applied only twice daily, preferably morning and evening.
