Patient Safety
Patient safety is central to our work. Our team operates under structured procedures, professional guidance and appropriate clinical oversight where needed.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
We protect patient information using secure systems, restricted access and clear confidentiality processes in line with UK GDPR and NHS rules.
Audit Trail & Accountability
We maintain secure and traceable audit trails for key pharmacy activities including prescription processing, relevant clinical interventions, communication records and service delivery. This allows us to support patient safety, review care where appropriate and maintain accountability within the team.
Access to records is limited to authorised staff.
Record Retention
Records are stored securely and retained in accordance with NHS and legal requirements. When no longer required, they are safely destroyed.
