Holroyd Pharmacy is committed to delivering safe, professional and high-quality healthcare. We operate in line with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards, NHS governance expectations, UK GDPR and best practice for community pharmacy.

Patient Safety

Patient safety is central to our work. Our team operates under structured procedures, professional guidance and appropriate clinical oversight where needed.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

We protect patient information using secure systems, restricted access and clear confidentiality processes in line with UK GDPR and NHS rules.

Audit Trail & Accountability

We maintain secure and traceable audit trails for key pharmacy activities including prescription processing, relevant clinical interventions, communication records and service delivery. This allows us to support patient safety, review care where appropriate and maintain accountability within the team.

Access to records is limited to authorised staff.

Record Retention

Records are stored securely and retained in accordance with NHS and legal requirements. When no longer required, they are safely destroyed.

Complaints & Feedback

We welcome feedback and take concerns seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please refer to our Complaints Procedure for how to contact us. We aim to resolve issues fairly, transparently and promptly.
