Skinoren 20% Cream contains azelaic acid, a prescription treatment for acne.
Azelaic acid helps treat acne by reducing acne-causing bacteria, helping to prevent blocked pores and reducing inflammation in the skin.
Skinoren is applied directly to affected areas and can be used on areas such as the face, chest and back.
Improvements may begin to become noticeable after around 4 weeks, although treatment usually needs to be continued for several months for the best results.
