Finacea 15% Gel contains azelaic acid, a prescription treatment used for mild to moderate acne and papulopustular rosacea.
Azelaic acid has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and helps reduce blocked pores, redness and inflamed spots.
Finacea is applied directly to the affected skin, usually twice daily. Many people begin to notice improvement after approximately 4 weeks, although continued treatment may be required for the best results.
