Efracea 40mg Modified-Release Capsules contain doxycycline and are prescribed to reduce the inflammatory papules and pustules associated with facial rosacea in adults.
Efracea uses a specially designed modified-release formulation of doxycycline that produces lower, anti-inflammatory levels than conventional antibiotic-dose doxycycline.
It can be used on its own or alongside an appropriate topical rosacea treatment where clinically suitable.
