Foundayo contains orforglipron, an oral GLP-1 receptor agonist used for weight management in suitable adults alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
It is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30kg/m² or above, or a BMI of 27kg/m² to under 30kg/m² where at least one weight-related health condition is also present, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnoea or cardiovascular disease.
Foundayo is taken once daily as a tablet and does not require an injection. Treatment starts at a low dose and is gradually increased according to response and tolerability. Medicines.org.uk
