Zyban 150mg prolonged-release tablets contain bupropion hydrochloride and are prescribed to help adults stop smoking.
Zyban does not contain nicotine.
It is used alongside motivational support or a structured stop-smoking programme and can help reduce nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms while quitting.
Treatment normally begins while the patient is still smoking, with a target quit date set during the first two weeks of treatment.
