LoviOne 1.5mg Emergency Contraceptive Tablet

LoviOne 1.5mg contains levonorgestrel, an emergency contraceptive used following unprotected sex or when a regular contraceptive method has failed.

It can be taken up to 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex, but it should be taken as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours, because emergency contraception is generally more effective the sooner it is taken.

LoviOne works mainly by preventing or delaying ovulation.

It is intended for occasional emergency use and should not replace an ongoing method of contraception.

LoviOne:

• Does not terminate an existing pregnancy.

• Is not a regular contraceptive method.

• Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
